I've gotten a lot of requests for these over the years.  But had not found anything similar to the thin spacers some carts used.  Until now!  These are slightly thicker than the originals.  So they will not work with all cart/reel combinations.  If the top of the center of the reel is below the reel spindle before you use one of these washers. And above the reel spindle after installed, do not attempt to play with the washer installed! This may result in permanent damage to your tape!!
 
If you aren't sure if these will work with your cart/reel combo, after you close things up, try and advance the tape at the pinch roller with your finger.  If you noticed a lot of resistance, or the tape will not advance at all, open the cart back up and remove the spacer.  
 
These will work with most reels carts though.  They can help stop a slighlty warped reel from scraping the bottom of the cart shell.  And quiet things down a little if the bottom of the reel is noisy as it spins on the bottom of the spindle and you don't want to use any kind of lubricant on it.
