My "Drop In" 8 track pads are a very popular item. Unfortunately they are also a very time consuming item for me to make. So they can be difficult for me to keep in stock when I am getting large orders behind the scene.
 
Enter these "Peel and Stick" pads. These are identical to the "Drop In" style pads material wise. Except they do not come attached to the plastic strip or cut in the middle. 
 
These are a little over 5/16" tall, 1 and 15/16 in length and in between 1/4" and 5/16" in width (9/32" to be exact, just like the original factory ones).  They ARE NOT designed to be used as one piece pads.  So they will need to be cut in the middle.  Otherwise they will not fit properly and the adhesive will fail in areas where there is a lot of stress put on the pad.  
 
To use, carefully peel the pad off of the nonstick backing, from the side as pictured.  Not from the edges as the sticky backing on these is REALLY sticky and may stick slightly to the backing on the edges.  Flip pad over so sticky side is up.  Carefully attach the black plastic strip, shiny side up to the pad.  Make sure you have things lined up good before pressing down.  The pad will be damaged if you try and unstick it from the plastic strip! 
 
Cut the plastic strip to size with a pair of scissors.  Using an old intact pad as a guide, make a cut in the center of the pad using a single edge blade (I can include one for free, just leave a note at checkout).  You can also attach these to the old plastic strip that the old pad was attached to.  But you will in most cases need to flip the plastic strip over as the old adhesive is almost impossible to remove.  And these will not stick properly to the old adhesive.  
 
These come in packs of 6 pads, with 2 plastic strips (enough for 6 pads).
