July 27, 2026 Update

It’s been a busy month here business wise which has been great! And it’s time for a long overdue update. I’ve gotten some feedback from customers on the replacement tires for the Ampex/GRT/Module 8 carts. This latest run of tubing had a manufacturing defect. The thickness of the tubing in between the inner and outer diameter was uneven and was creating playback issues for some people. Since I have no idea how long this tubing is going to be in the mix from the place I order it from. I have switched to a clearish/milk white silicone tubing (Thank you 8tracktapestore.com for the idea). I’ve had good results when I tested it and am looking forward to feedback from customers. This would actually be easier for me to keep in stock as well.

There aren’t many in stock at the moment as I’ve had some big orders with the new stuff and had to send some replacements for the old (the defective tires were not available on my site for very long). But more tubing is on the way.

And speaking of my web store, I have been working on updating it in a way that will hopefully make shopping much easier. Instead of seperate links for each category, I now have a single landing page. From this landing page you can select which category you want to shop.
